Stewardship in Skaneateles: Virtual Program

Harmful algae blooms (HABs) are a threat to water quality in Skaneateles Lake. Conserving land and practicing stewardship on your property can help protect water quality.

This virtual event will feature presentations from Finger Lakes Land Trust, CNY Land Trust and SUNY ESF related to conservation and stewardship in the Skaneateles Lake watershed. Join us for one or all three sessions!

  • 10:00 - 10:45 AM: Conservation easements and updates on Finger Lakes Land Trust's Skaneateles projects. Max Heitner, FLLT

  • 11:00 - 11:45 AM: CNY Land Trust's work in Skaneateles, including the new Watershed Education Center. Albert Joerger, CNY Land Trust

  • 12:00 - 12:45 PM: Skaneateles lawn to meadow restoration program. Sam Quinn, SUNY ESF
