Wanted! Spotted Lanternfly! Spotted Lanternfly (SLF) is an invasive pest from Asia that mainly feeds on tree of heaven, but can also feed on plants, including grapevine, hops, maple, walnut, fruit trees and more. This insect could have impacts on New York's forests, as well as the agricultural and tourism industries. SLF has already been found throughout the Lower Hudson, Ithaca and NYC in New York State. Cornell Cooperative Extension Onondaga County Forestry Specialist, Kristina Ferrare will share information on SLF, including how you can get involved in identifying and reporting SLF.
